THIS RICK PERRY “INTERNET TAX” AD is a full page ad for newspaper. It was created in three days in response to his opponent’s sudden announcement of intent to tax the internet. The graphic concept was for a red, white and blue close-up of a hypothetical website address, “http://www.taxandspend.com.” It took a jab at the Democrat opponent for his continuing “tax and spend” policies. The graphic was created from scratch utilizing a screen capture of the address in a web browser. The captured image was enlarged, given perspective, and distorted.
