THE PERRY CPA FUNDRAISING PACKAGE was targeted at certified public accountants in Texas and exposed the creative accounting methods used by Perry’s opponent, Comptroller John Sharp, to exaggerate his own cost-cutting effectiveness as the State Comptroller. A main feature of the design was an article that appeared in “Business Week” questioning Sharp’s claims.

Unlike the Perry Push Card
, which was printed on coated paper, it was to be printed on uncoated stock so that customized elements and addressing could be laser printed in later.

That required a different set of adjustments to the highlights, midtones and shadows of the black and white images than were required for the push card.
